Sickness
by Alex Barajas 16 yrs. old
You go from hospital to hospital,
hurting everywhere not knowing what's wrong.
Locked up like a criminal wondering what lies ahead,
You wish you could go back home to live your normal life.
The time finally comes,
You are diagnosed with cancer.
Your world crashes and you feel debilitated.
The worst part is going through chemotherapy,
With dreaded daily treatments and daily doctor visits,
So hard to bear.
There is a feeling of insecurity when being in a hospital,
A whole six months has gone down the drain.
Through the crummy to the the awful,
I had friends and family supporting through the walk.
But the best feeling of all was knowing God was going to heal me,
And he did!
